Proud Air Force veteran and father of two girls. Prior to becoming a fitness trainer, I had a career in I.T. This was my 2nd degree and I believe I will always be intrigued by technology. When I took my first Personal Trainer certification course, I had no intentions of actually becoming a trainer. I took the course to learn more about the human body and training principles in the hopes that it would give me the information I needed to be able to grow. I stood 6'1" and weighed between 137-143 and when I was competing in MMA I was one of the few fighters at the time to actually put on weight to make their division instead of cutting.
As I was going through the course I started applying the knowledge I learned to help co-workers in the gym. One day one of them said, "dude, you should become a trainer, you have the knowledge and you seem genuinely interested in helping people". That's when I decided to move to California to start my own personal training business.
My Training Mantra:
"Mind over matter"
My Fitness Philosophy:
Never settle, always think of how can I be better
than I was yesterday. Always have goals and keep
pushing until you crash through each of them and
look forward to the next. End the day with the
belief that “my best was good for today, tomorrow
I’ll do better.”
